“ This is arguably one of the best chicken biscuits I've ever had. The 'Got Your Goat' is seriously excellent; its combination of pepper jelly, balsamic glaze, tender chicken, and creamy goat cheese creates a symphony of flavors that results in an outstanding chicken biscuit. The service is excellent and the staff are wonderful. I will absolutely be returning next time l'm in Richmond. ”
“ Fancy Biscuit for lunch while in Richmond. It doesn't get tastier than this. Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese to start the meal! Great presentation. Tomato basil bisque with a fresh and flaky biscuit and from the "Something Smaller" section of the menu, a chicken biscuit. Delicious!! ”
“ It was my first time here and it definitely gave all it was supposed to give. My favorite was the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. I’m going back for more!!! I honestly don’t think you can go wrong at the fancy biscuit just make sure you bring an empty stomach lol Edit... I came back and ordered the fried green tomatoes again because they were that good but this time I was disappointed and I think it was somebody else cooking. The breadcrumbs instantly fell off and it was burnt. What a disappointment! I probably won’t go back there but my first experience was great and it’s nice and clean inside and smells good. ”
“ First off- this place is a must try, even if you’re a vegetarian! Now, biscuits and gravy- such a staple but they elevate the flavors. Sausage, Tasso and red eye- all are gourmet! Sausage was phenomenal, Tasso was surprisingly amazing and the red eye was totally unexpected- but definitely an acquired taste.. The freshy fresh- such a sweet surprise honestly- never had such delicious collard greens that leave you wanting more- they’re almost candied but savory- it’s magic! The wavy gravy- mimics sausage gravy in texture but mind blowing flavor! Amazing service as well, just wish they had more outdoor space for outdoor seating.. ”
“ Five stars all the way! We came in just 30 minutes before closing, and the service was still absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food? Pure perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Even at the end of the day, everything was fresh and on point. Highly recommend Fancy Biscuit—you won’t be disappointed! ”
“ Everything was delicious! The biscuits were pillowy perfection, the gravies flavorful and nicely seasoned, and the fried chicken tasty. Can't wait to come again and try something else on this tempting menu. ”
“ Loved it. Great, creative, delicious biscuits chicken and egg options are awesome. Service was great ”
“ THE. BEST. FORK. AND. KNIFE. BISCUIT. I. HAVE. EVER. HAD. Ava was so helpful. She made suggestions and came to check on us at just the right time. I ordered the Sweet Heat and added pickles and pepper jack cheese. OH. MY. GAWSH. Mouth-watering delicious flavor. It really wasn’t spicy but more savory flavor! The thing that knocked my socks off was the COLLARD GREENS! They have this sweet flavor that I was not expecting—I can’t even describe the seasonings. You’ll just have to try it!!!!! My aunt got the three-meat quiche and the grits. She paused mid-bite on the grits & said “this is good”! The quiche was cut like a pie and it was a good portion. The fruit side was fresh (it came with arugula salad but she subbed it out). We debated getting to-go but decided to stay and experience the eclectic environment. We did not know there is another side to the restaurant with booths! We are not stuffed but we are comfortable and glad that this meal was the first of the day because it helped set the tone for an already beautiful day! *You get a little bit of a discount when you pay with cash.* ”
